Cats Cove Cottage

Cats Cove Cottage is a private waterfront guest cottage located on Mundy Point - a 2 mile spit of land surrounded by water in the heart of Virginia's Northern Neck.The upstairs sleeping loft, down-stairs sitting area and screened porch all have sweeping water views.
	The cottage sleeps two. Guests have use of a private pier (MLW 5 ft.), swimming pool, and row boats. Fresh berries from the garden and orchard fruit are available in season. This cottage is ideal for quiet contemplation or as a retreat from a day of sight seeing.
Guests are welcome to catch crabs from our pier; take one of our row boats and explore the creek; or guests can walk to the end of the Point and look out at the Maryland shore imagining what it was like when steamboats carried travelers and goods up-river to the nearby town of Kinsale.
	Washington's Birthplace, Robert E. Lee's Stratford Hall, Historic Christ Church, Westmoreland Berry Farm, Reedville Fisherman's Museum, Rice Hughlett Tavern, numerous wineries, antique shops, marinas, and golf courses are all within an easy drive. You are most welcome to spend two days, a week or a weekend, but please leave your pets at home.
We are approximately 70 miles from Richmond and Fredericksburg and 110 miles from Washington D.C. Guests arriving by boat will find us on Wilkins Creek, just off the West Yeocomico River. Our coordinates are N 38 01.032' W 076 33.419'
